A note from Angie

My students are the very best! It's hard to believe sometimes, but I get paid to help my gifted and talented students find their passions and purpose. Igniting curiosity for over 230 students across the six buildings I serve comes with an expense. We are a 100% free breakfast and lunch district, so I don't ask parents to provide additional supplies. It's like saying, "Since you're smart, you have to come up with more money to spend on school supplies." I do, however, save supplies from one year to the next so we aren't starting over each year. Our needed supplies are items for projects, incentives, and snacks for academic meets and field trips. Our biggest request is to pray for our kiddos. Many of them will be first-generation college students, and they are definitely world changers! I'm so proud of them as they go off to universities all over the country, and as others stay here and work every single day to help put food on the table and raise younger siblings. Thank you for your prayers and consideration for classroom support.

Adopt Angie’s classroom

A wishlist is one moment in a long year. Supplies run out, holiday projects need their own things, and the snack drawer is empty again by February. Adopting means Angie can tell you what comes up next, and how the year is going in the room itself.
