A note from Charlotte
All of these items are helping build our self inclusion classroom. This is my first year I. special Education and now that I am getting to know and learn my students I can hone in on what skills they really need help with which means I will need more manipulatives Because I taught general ed. I chose special education because of the experiences I had growing up with my family. My dad worked in law enforcement and was involved with Special Olympics, and I was always proud to volunteer alongside him. Those experiences allowed me to build meaningful connections with individuals with disabilities and taught me the importance of inclusion, compassion, and advocacy. They inspired me to pursue a career in special education so I can make a positive difference in the lives of students and their families.

Adopt Charlotte’s classroom
A wishlist is one moment in a long year. Supplies run out, holiday projects need their own things, and the snack drawer is empty again by February. Adopting means Charlotte can tell you what comes up next, and how the year is going in the room itself.
