A note from Heather
This list helps support the growing community partnership between my junior high choir and a local nursing home. We perform there twice a year, but when we go, we also spend time engaging with the residents. During the summer (and this year on select Friday afternoons during the school year), choir members go and again talk with the residents, but also help with Bingo and then play alongside the residents. Both the seniors and the students look forward to these interactions and have built some neat relationships. It’s been so good for the people on BOTH Ends of the age spectrum!
