A note from Kayla
I teach kindergarten in a school where 97% are economically disadvantaged. This year, I’ve got 21 students in my care, a couple which have severe behavioral needs. A high number of students came to me this year without supplies of their own, and so as I do each year, I paid for school supplies out of my own pocket. I don’t have any children of my own, so each and every child that passes through my doors is mine forever! This makes year 18 for me, and I’d appreciate any help making my classroom my student’s home away from home.

A wishlist is one moment in a long year. Supplies run out, holiday projects need their own things, and the snack drawer is empty again by February. Adopting means Kayla can tell you what comes up next, and how the year is going in the room itself.
