I am a Pre-K–2nd grade librarian serving over 200 little readers! 📚 I was originally placed in this position as a new teaching assistant with absolutely no library background, but I quickly fell in love with my job and knew this was where I belonged. I am currently a full-time college student working toward my teaching certification and plan to continue on to earn my master’s in Library Media Science. My current wishlist goal is to provide my students with book pouches so their library books can travel safely between school and home. With so many students, the cost adds up quickly, but these pouches would make a huge difference in protecting our books and helping them last for many little readers to come! 💛
