A note from Roxanne
I was that “at-risk” for failure student simply for being poor and speaking Spanish. I took it as a challenge and earned a doctoral degree in BILINGUAL education and now get paid extra to teach on SPANISH. Turns out my language was an asset after all. I know first hand how education is the key to success. I made it out of the poverty cycle as a first generation student. Now I push my students towards success too!

A wishlist is one moment in a long year. Supplies run out, holiday projects need their own things, and the snack drawer is empty again by February. Adopting means Roxanne can tell you what comes up next, and how the year is going in the room itself.
