A note from Tiffany
I’m a middle school ELD teacher, and I have the privilege of supporting multilingual learners as they build English while also keeping up with the same science, social studies, math, and literacy expectations as their peers. My students could really benefit from materials that make language and academic concepts more visual, hands-on, and accessible. The items on my Amazon Wishlist and DonorsChoose help me create those opportunities for them. From books and classroom resources to materials that let students create, practice, and demonstrate what they know in ways that aren’t limited by their English proficiency. One of my biggest dreams is to bring a 3D printer into our classroom so students can turn vocabulary and abstract concepts into things they can actually see, build, touch, and explain. I’m a department of one, so I’m always trying to stretch what I have as far as possible. Any support, whether it’s one small item or something larger, genuinely becomes something my students use and benefit from. Thank you for choosing to support teachers and classrooms.
