A note from Toria

I am a 21 year veteran who has worked at two schools for the last five years. I am always advocating for my students to have all the resources they need without having to ask the school. I tend to spend my own funds when I really want students to have items. The school that I am currently working in has little to no space as it was built pre 1900s and has had minimal updates since the late 1990s. I need storage and supplementary materials since I’m not a homeroom Teacher and I work with grades K-5. Any support is appreciated for our list or DC project. Thank you for helping in any way

Adopt Toria’s classroom

A wishlist is one moment in a long year. Supplies run out, holiday projects need their own things, and the snack drawer is empty again by February. Adopting means Toria can tell you what comes up next, and how the year is going in the room itself.

  • Just sent some things from your list. Thank you for teaching kiddos in Memphis - my community and home. I went to public schools in Memphis, and my mom taught at public schools in Memphis for 40+ years. And now I’m living my dream as an attorney at St. Jude, thanks to wonderful teachers like you and my mom! 💕 Best of luck this school year!
